EARTH DAY CELEBRATIONS @ MIDDLE SCHOOL

"The Earth is what we all have in common." —Wendell Berry

Earth Day is an annual event to celebrate the beauty of our planet and to ponder over the impact of human activity on the planet. This year we come together again in partnership for the planet to help create a sustainable future for our planet because green future is a prosperous future.

The Middle School celebrated World Earth Day on April 19, 2023. The classrooms were abuzz with diverse activities. Bird feeders, terrariums and diaries from old notebooks were created by Grades 6, 7 and 8 students respectively. Videos hinging on sustainable ideas were shown to catalyse meaningful environment friendly initiatives. Students participated in relevant discussions on pertinent issues. Students took a green walk across corridors that resonated with the inspiring works of  Grades 6, 7 and 8.

Eco-Monitors visited the Dubai Butterfly Garden to be closer with nature and to whole-heartedly embrace our benevolent Mother Earth.

Middle School Headmistress, Ms. Sunita Sadhu, addressed students in the Assembly conducted by Grade 7 A & B.

It is indeed the need of the hour to invest in our beautiful planet and to carve a better future for ourselves.
